Mediterranean-style recipes - whole grain

MEDITERRANEAN-STYLE WHOLE GRAIN RECIPES

In a typical American meal, the plate contains a portion of protein, a  starch and possibly a vegetable.  By contrast, in Mediterranean-style meals, the protein is mixed with the grains, vegetables with the protein, and grains with the vegetables.   In this way, delicious combinations are made.  Mediterranean-style cooking is a very effective way for encouraging family members to eat vegetables and whole grains.

We would be pleased to display your favorite Mediterranean-style recipes for others to enjoy.   All recipes should be original or reproduced with permission.
